An Update Plan gives you access to all software updates for that license during a 12 month time period. It comes standard with any perpetual license purchased for any of our software.

12 months after purchasing a perpetual license, your update plan will expire. However, You Still Have Access to Your Software and the version that your update plan expired on. You will Never lose access to your license and we will never force you backwards.

In short, the update plan does not prevent you from using your software after it has expired, you will simply be limited to the last update that was available at the time of expiration.
