How do I check the progress of individual files in a Transcode Job?

Select the completed or active Transcode Job. Each file appears with a thumbnail, filename, and processing progress. Select an individual clip to open its Details Panel and review metadata.

Can I preview a transcoded video in ShotPut Studio?

Yes. Select the clip in the Transcode Job results and switch the Details Panel to view the Output. You can play the transcoded video directly within the application to inspect its quality and changes.

How do I retry a failed transcode?

Right-click the failed clip and select Reprocess. This retries the individual transcode without requiring you to restart the entire job.

Can I filter or sort files in a Transcode Job?

Yes. You can sort files by name or status and filter them by All, In Progress, Done, Cancelled, or Failed. You can also search for individual files by name.

Can I upload a completed transcode to the cloud?

Yes. Right-click the completed Transcode Job and select Upload. Choose a connected S3 destination and start the upload.
