How do I transcode a video using the Transcode Tool?

Open the Transcode Tool and drag the video files you want to process into the Sources queue. Select a Custom Preset or Preset Template from the dropdown menu. Review the settings and click Start to begin the transcode.

Can I change transcode settings without creating a new Preset?

Yes. You can make changes directly in the Transcode Tool before starting a job. To keep those changes for future use, select Save and choose whether to overwrite the existing Preset or save the settings as a new Preset. Unsaved changes will apply to the next job but will be lost when you switch tools or exit the application.
