As of right now, a transcode cannot be performed automatically following a copy job. This feature will be included in our automation update coming in Q1 of 2025.

As of right now, the fastest way to transcode a previously completed copy job is to right-click the completed job from your jobs list.

After selecting Transcode, a pop-up will appear.

Users can give the Transcode Job a name and select the drive to use. Then select the Transcode Preset to use for the job. This preset will dictate the settings used in the transcode.

Users will be able to view what drive the transcode will use. This option will always be your Source, but if multiple sources were used you will be able to select which one to use.

After the desired Transcode Preset to use has been selected from the dropdown menu, click Start to begin the transcode.
